Alcohol
The term "alcohol" originally comes from Spanish. It means dry powder. In nature, alcohol occurs when ripe fruits or juices ferment. Through fermentation, alcohol is also produced in a natural way. Namely, by fermenting raw materials containing sugar or starch. This is done with the help of yeast or bacteria. Such raw materials come from nature. Roots (gentian) or fruits can be fermented. Through the process of distillation, the fine, high-percentage natural alcohol is ultimately obtained. Depending on the further processing, this then becomes a noble brandy, schnapps, spirit or liqueur.
